Office Manager/Contract Administrator
Jerry Clemons is Extended Family’s Office Manager/Contract Administrator. He brings his vast experience in contract administration to help with grant oversight and administrative duties, as well as the duties of office administration. Besides taking out the trash and making coffee, Jerry assists with any task needed to maintain internal records, inventory of training supplies, website and social media updates, as well as traveling to assist Laure with Leader Trainings. Jerry coordinates and co-leads Extended Family’s Going Home workshop programs. Jerry spent six years in an Alabama state penitentiary, and has been home successfully since 2009. He has a heart for returning citizens and their families, and therefore, is a co-creator of the workshop Going Home, built on his experiences of returning home after incarceration. Through the Going Home workshop, Jerry and Laure have taught hundreds of inmates how to effectively re-enter their home and community lives. Jerry has a dream of one day starting King David’s House, a start-up transition home for Christian men leaving prison. Jerry is a Certificated Recovery Support Specialist, who actively shares his experience to help others.
