Tony Monroy

Tony Monroy is the Chief Investigator, Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, where he began serving as a Patrol Deputy in 2010 and moved to investigations in 2013. He has been involved with Extended Family for Kids (EFK) in Cherokee County Schools since 2014. During our “COPS!” Lesson, Sgt. Monroy answers student’s questions and puts them at ease with law enforcement. In 2018, Sgt. Monroy founded “Extended Leadership Academy”, a program for Extended Family for Kids students who were ready to learn personal leadership skills. He co-led the model year of ELA, and continues to facilitate ELA presentations in Cherokee County Schools.
